Are you pregnant and planning to breastfeed?  Have a breastfed baby, and want to meet other breastfeeding mums? Do you have breastfeeding or parenting questions?

You're welcome at our monthly Coffee Mornings, where we discuss a range of breastfeeding-related and parenting topics eg the value of breastmilk, baby-led weaning, nutrition for mums/babies, working and breastfeeding, and more. These discussion-style meetings are informal, and the emphasis is on mother-to-mother support.  Coffee, tea, milo and water provided.

When: 2nd Wednesday of every month - 10am

Where: Waihi Maternity Annexe, Toomey Street, Waihi. 

Who: Pregnant women, support person, mothers, babies, toddlers and children welcome

We're interested in supporting, and encouraging you in your breastfeeding experiences, while offering up-to-date information. 

We have an up-to-date range of library books on birth, breastfeeding, parenting and nutrition topics.

Some DVDs and slings also available to loan.

Practical Breastfeeding classes are offered, by appointment
